Do the newer PSW505's have a BASH amp?
I purchased a Polk PSW505 subwoofer in December of 2013. One of my favorite all time purchases. I liked it so much that I recently purchased a second one. It also sounds great. However, I noticed that the subwoofer I received in 2013 has a BASH amp. It is labeled as such on the back of the amp. The new sub I recently purchased does not. Does the PSW505 still come with a BASH amp or is it now manufactured by a different company? If it's not a BASH amp, who is the manufacturer?

That's interesting ... I own two, one of which just recently purchased and the other a few years ago, but either are labeled "BASH"
I do hhave a Boston Acoustic 12" sub that is labeled "BASH" and the power supply went out on it as it keeps blowing fuses upon pwr up. Shop wants $270. to fix it ... something about having FET's in the pwr supply that make it an exspensive repair, so they say .... THAT IS JUST NOT HAPPENING!!!
If they are all "BASH" that exspensive to repair then I don't think I want another one.
Anywaaaay, just my two cents worth.
