This is worrying:What's more, the CT-1E (enhanced) RCA connector fits the collar of most RCA jacks so tightly that serious force is required to insert it. From this follows that removal can be hazardous to thin sheet-metal housings or board-mounted jacks.
Sonically, though, they loved them....anyone ready to spend such a significant amount on audio wires would do well to give a listen to these High Fidelity Cables. They were the best cables I have heard thus far. They provide such openness that it was quite difficult to go back to other wires. Another reviewer wrote a while back that it would be better not to try these if you cannot afford them. I agree wholeheartedly.afterburnt wrote: »They didn't speak a word of English, they were from South Carolina.

That's not a new concept, though might be a different design. Audio Metallurgy has been using magnets for over a decade. Though I believe they are out of business now. Still use one of their digital cables.
While they do sound good and can remove some of the harsh edges without losing detail, I wouldn't go as far as to say they are the best though.HT SYSTEM-

The Audio Metallurgy is a good sounding cable. We need to put it against the mc2!Klipsch The Nines, Audioquest Thunderbird Interconnect, Innuos Zen MK3 W4S recovery, Revolution Audio Labs USB & Ethernet, Border Patrol SE-I, Audioquest Niagara 5000 & Thunder, Cullen Crossover II PC's.

It is quite interesting and, as Tony has mentioned, not entirely revolutionary. Even if they are the absolute best cables conceivable, the pricing should give even a well-healed audiophile apoplexy. If I had to pay THAT to replace my MIT cables, I believe I'd buy a Tesla instead and have some REAL fun with magnets.

Based entirely on my experience with Virtual Dynamics power cords I have no interest in these High Fidelity cables. The VD imparted an "openness" of sorts that definitely gets your attention from the start, but in short order the realization that this is an artifical artifact is undeniable as live sound does not possess that trait.
In addition, based entirely on a conversation with Rick Schultz, the man has mastered the art of BS.Political Correctness'.........defined
"A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a t-u-r-d by the clean end."
