I'm able to trade in some incentive points for a new turntable. Am considering the Audio Technica LP1240 or the Teac TN300. Both get great reviews, but the Teac is a bit cheaper (plus comes with a cartridge).
This is for casual listening in my garage recording studio only.
Wondering if anyone has a point of view on these units, benefits of one over the other, etc.?

I was looking at Music Hall and also the RP-1, but both units above are basically "free" since I can cash in incentive points for them. If Music Hall is still a better choice, I may use the points for something else.2 Channel "Polk" Room:
