Getting back into 2 Channel

Hello, new to the forum but certainly not to Polk speakers. My 5 channel system (and sub) are Polk, outdoor speakers (sub and satellites), etc.
I recently came across my old records and am looking to build a 2 channel system around my early 80's monitor 7's, which have been stored unused in my garage for about 20 years.
Per the attached pictures, I have a few questions: 1) What series are these (I've read about 7a, 7b, etc.) ; 2) How would I best repair/replace the broken speaker wire post?; 3) Are there any maintenance items I should consider to bring these back up to snuff?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts and advice.

Also welcome to the forum. Clearly not an expert here but since I do own an early model M7 (from '78) there are instant clues. Because your terminal cups do not have out board mounted fuse holders these could already be 7Bs from early eighties and onward. A picture of the fronts would also tell if you have the original Peerless tweeters or the next generation of tweeters that Polk used. The only thing if filthy from storage, use ONLY original Windex to clean drivers, surrounds and the bezeles. If truly wanting to bring those up to better than born on specs consider refreshing the x-overs and of course the very least replace those 5-way binding posts. Please again take pics of the entire package, fronts, cabinets, and rears. My cabinet top corners were all chewed upon and fixed that w/ decorative corners from Home Depot for $3.49 for a set of 4. I also redid my x-overs using top shelf parts including new 5ways. Before shot w/ yellow Mexican caps and then redone w/ large white Sonicap brand caps.

Thanks for your replies, both. I will plan to pick up new posts just to get them up and running. Will likely jump into the mod game at some point as well as I've heard great things about the results of a modest crossover upgrade.
Dumb question: How does one actually change the posts? I removed the crossover, and there doesn't seem to be a way to get "behind" them. It appears as if there is a ring where the post meets the crossover. Is this threaded? If so, perhaps just remove those and pull the posts out? Doesn't seem logical as I would think there would have to be something on the inside to hold them tight.2 Channel "Polk" Room:
