Just make sure they are the Matrix 2's Ern, they had an earlier version not quit as good but also very well received.

I think if you re-arrange that room, put all the gear and speakers on the built-in shelf wall, put the amp and pre closer together and maybe add something behind the speaks, you'd do pretty well....and long lengths of cables won't cost you a trip to the Caribbean.

Reason I say this, and putting the speaks on the same wall, pulled away of course from the shelves, is that first reflections will hit the solid walls on the sides and then the solid wall behind the listening position. You have a sub to reinforce the lower end in case the bookshelf sucks up any lower bass. Just my thoughts on it, as we discussed before. That room takes a lot of trial and error.

I will give it a shot but, that is how I had the room to begin with but, that was using the old cables. I have not tried it that way with the new ones. Next week!!

And thanks for letting me know about the 2 part. I was also reading on the WOW ic's ( some great reviews on them) and they are bit cheaper but, I liked what I heard from yours and I don't want to settle for less....... as funds permits.

My 703's came with Acoustic Zen "Epoch" speaker cables and the "Oscar link" IC's and both are probably AZ cheapest cables but together the sound pretty awesome to me, I can see why you want their better cables. And they are really nicely built.
