The family and I have been kicking around the idea of setting up a salt water tank. I would love to see some pictures of your setup. -

Had a 480g cube in wall with a 240g sump, 120g mix tank and a dedicated pump/equipment room with a pair of Volcano skimmers in my house I had with my ex.
Unfortunately, when we split, I was at a point where I just wanted out and left tens of thousands of dollars worth of equipment behind.
Had tons of hard and soft corals, a huge assortment of fish including (more notably) a chocolate tang, naso trigger, 4 different mated pairs of clowns and a VERY Dory-like blue tang. I also had a lawnmower blenny that would eat nori from your hand and a group of harlequin shrimp that were lorded over by a male peppermint shrimp I affectionately named "Pimpy McShrimp".
Absolutely adored the hobby and am still a semi active member of the Greater Iowa Reef Society.
I plan on doing a 240g tank in the bar of the new house but that is a couple of years out still...
I can't access the pics from my work computer so I will try to remember to post some up tonight."Some people find it easier to be conceited rather than correct."

I've always admired them. Simply gorgeous when done right. Too much work for me though. Reef tanks need a lot of attention because if they start to go south it's a battle....like most any tank is.
I prefer the outdoor tanks.....ponds. lolHT SYSTEM-
