Quick value question - Citation gear

I'm looking at selling my very nice Citation 11 preamp and Citation 12 power amp complete with boxes that I got from the original owner a while back. I'd like to avoid eBay as it seems kind of risky so I'm going to try locally first. Anyway, my question is about what a fair asking price might be for the pair. I checked online and it seems prices are all over the place. Any idea where a fair place to start might be?
