Sub with Tube Amp?

This is probably audio blasphemy, but has anyone used a sub with a tube amp?
I am playing with an Onix SP3 Melody, and would like to see how a sub works in the mix with the different speakers I've been trying. It would require using the sub's high level inputs then out to the speakers from there. Any problems with doing this with a tube integrated?

Good Question, I cheated and had preamplifier in the mix (cd- to preamplifier to integrated amp and preamp to sub) it worked and and I set the tube amp's volume to 12oc and use the preamp to control the volume.

Actually not bad, I was worried about trying a preamp before a Integrated amplifier but it seems to work ok.
