Hi all I would like to hear some opinions about what would suit best for my application or how i should go about setting it up. I have a Denon Avr-3000 w/ audio video standard RCA jacks + s-video, no HDMI. A Origin EON17s with standard audio outputs + 1 HDMI. Sony Vizio M422i-b1 w/ ethernet, dtv, audio output (red, white), optical audio out, 4 HDMI, component (red, blue, white, green), usb. I plays games from the laptop and would like to connect it to the receiver to the tv. Now should I get a convertor from the laptop to reciever the analog to tv? Or use the audio jacks on the laptop I heard the quality of sound takes a big decrease. What's the best way to go while maintaining sound quality?

You can find inexpensive usb dac's like the Audioquest dragonfly or LH labs Geek that will sound way better then the built in sound card on the laptop. The 2 I mentioned would plug into your laptop usb, then you can take a cord and go from the dac to your receivers input.
What kind of cable box or how are you receiving your TV signal?Klipsch The Nines, Audioquest Thunderbird Interconnect, Innuos Zen MK3 W4S recovery, Revolution Audio Labs USB & Ethernet, Border Patrol SE-I, Audioquest Niagara 5000 & Thunder, Cullen Crossover II PC's. -
Tv through wifi only. No cable box don't feel like flushing money
