RIP Gary Gore

I was just told that Gary has been killed in an accident. Most of you do not know him,,but he used to post here sometime ago,,his handle was Tenn. Rabbit. Just wanted to pass this on in case anyone remembers him. Godspeed Gary, you will be missed.

    I saw that on the Carver sites. Very sad indeed.

    I talked to him a couple times on the phone about going fully active as he's the only guy I know that actually did it (Carver AL-III's) and did it right.

    He will be missed!

    He was a good guy, and a good friend. Never afraid to tell you how he really felt.

    Rest in peace, brother.

    RIP Gary, peace to his family.
    So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

    From Fredricksburg.com;
    According to Virginia State Police Sgt. F.L. Tyler, a 1998 Honda motorcycle was traveling north on Sandy Lane Drive just south of Mills Drive at 6:50 p.m., when the driver moved into the southbound lane to pass a 1998 Toyota Tacoma pickup.

    The lane change resulted in the motorcycle striking a 2013 Nissan Rogue that was traveling south. After the impact, the motorcycle came back into the northbound lane and struck the pickup.

    The motorcyclist, Gary Thomas Gore, 54, of Woodford, was ejected at that point. He died at the scene.

    The world lost a really nice man here with Gary. The first time I met him, I was a little brought back because of the sheer size of the man. However, when we met and started getting to know each other I quickly learned that this "Brutus" of a man was actually gentile, extremely kind, caring and of course, a brother in this hobby of ours.

    Gary, it was a privilege to have you in our lives and I am proud to have had you in it through the years. Kim and I were floored when we heard the news. May you rest in peace my friend. We shall enjoy good times again when I meet you up there.

    RIP Gary Gore.

    I haven't previously opened this thread because I thought it was probably about some member of a 70's band who had passed away. Still would be sad of course, but something about hearing about CP members passing away that really hits close to home. I never spoke with him, but I do remember him posting in the past. Prayers to his family and friends.

  • This is so sad. Gary was a wonderful guy. We had talked on the phone for several years, and I finally had the pleasure of spending some time with him last year at CarverFest. He and I would talk on the phone, mostly when he called me. I look back on this now and feel so sad that my calls to him were so few and far between. This has taught me a valuable lesson. RIP Gary. You will be remembered and sorely missed my friend.

    It's just a shame. Wish his family well and makes one think how quickly we can leave it all behind. Rest in Peace.

    What a tragedy, RIP Gary! I had a pair of AL-III's at one time and Gary insisted on helping me set them up. We sent messages, diagrams, etc. back and forth. He was very knowledgeable. Such a nice man, he will be missed.
