Polk Fx Speaker Placement
I have a pair of fx500 that I want to use as side surrounds. However, in my family room, it is not feasible to have them at slightly above ear level. I am able to place them higher up directly to the side (8-10 feet high in a room w/ cathedral ceilings). Is this a good placement option along with mounts that could angle the speakers downward? I will note that placement in the rear of the room is impossible due to windows and patio door. Any suggestions?
