got a vintage pre/amp

So after bitching that my Sony Processor was lets say had a lot to be desired I got a Dynaco Pat-4 pre today. Off C/L and not for the listed price OF $55, I got it for $40. This model has the champagne face no scratches all inputs works and only 1 cosmetic thing a small knob is missing for the filter switcher which once set I don't think is even used. If any of you have a resource for a knob it's the D insert type and you will see the device now. It's rockin the house and now I have all the control I need and the phono section does the same as either the Sony or my beloved NAD 1020A

You've got the same issue you complained to me about.
No remote that's why I passed the Sony on to you.

Bill I know, but I've been looking at Adcom, NAD, Haflers, and some other makes and none had remotes and were going for crazy cash or had on board tuners which I do not need. I could use the exercise and if I play LPs I have to get up anyway. I'm keeping the Sony for backup unless you want or need it back. I haven't heard from you chiming in for quite some time...Oh, Sheet, THIS IS YOUR SEASON....hooooo

No Lew I don't need the Sony back. Maybe you could sell it and put that towards a diff. pre.
