Home Theater Bookies & Center

Hey all! I'm in the used market for some bookies and a center speaker for the home theater rig. They will be placed right up against a wall so either sealed or front ported speakers is what I'm assuming I'll need. I will be running a sub but would love if the bookies had some kick to them.
I'm working on a 3 channel amp now so these will have some nice power going to them eventually. Budget is $1,500ish for a used set. I had some Dynaudio Audience towers for a short time and while they were a little hot up top for music, they were incredible with movies. The soundstage was just immersive.
Was looking at the Bowers & Wilkins 685 S2's. Any suggestions?

punch a hole in the wall and buy Polk.

Love Polk but I want to look elsewhere for now. I'll revisit the idea if I can't find what I'm looking for

nht classic 3 and ThreeC. You could even get new for that price, or buy used and put some of the money towards the amp.
And they are hard to find used, but the M5a and M6s are really outstanding. Check out the review of the T6 system in stereophile, they gave it a Class A LF limited rating. But you do need a sub for them...Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es
