I got a sub & it has the 2 adjustment knobs & just a On/Off switch. The question i have is-is it auto on/off or do i have to hit the switch everytime OR should plug the plug in Switched so it turns on when the receiver comes on ? I tried to look online with not much info & figured maybe someone here has/had one like it. TIA. Randy

Well i shut it off about 15mins ago & light still on same color. I will wait 40mins or more. We will see...... The PDR-8 v3 has a on/off plastic switch VS the PDR-10 which has the toggle switch w/stand-by. There may be a difference & manual are not for specific model. Pictures ^^ mine - vv manual

I hooked it up plug direct into back of receiver & when i turn it on-the subwoofer powers on. I do not think this older version sub has auto on/off. Especially when all it has is a on/off switch that needs to be done manual & it appears the light on bottom front stays same color even after 45mins. That seems to me the unit could be on continuous ..... Years ago i had the pdr10 & the light changed colors as it shut off automatically after (15mins or so) of no signal. The sub had the toggle w/standby ..... My wife is not (i am with movies) into big big thunderous earth & house shaking subs. So the little Paradigm pdr8 & Polk rm6750 fit the bill for now. Thank you for you help..
