Spend the money we do on weapons, defenses, and war on feeding and clothing the poor as well as exploring space. I'm on board.

And ten seconds after we heed his advice,.... Well let's just say I sleep well knowing there are Marines with weapons, standing a post and watching out for us. I sleep better still knowing there are submarines on patrol and aircraft carriers guarding the sea lanes, and Airmen that can swat enemies from the skies.

I am glad there are those that put it all on the line so opinions like his can be freely expressed. I do hope he pays respect the The Marines he finds at Heaven's Gates.

I one of the other videos he had up, he goes on and on about Noam Chomsky and what a hero he is to him.... That is all i needed to know.

He talks about the military, and I was just making the case that he is dead wrong in his views.

Unfortunately, there is a strain of humanity that has persisted since the beginning of history and will likely persist till the end of humankind. It has produced the likes of Nero, Attila the Hun, the Inquisition, Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot and, of course, many others.

Is a safe, peaceful, utopian world without weapons and defenses possible?

I am always reminded of the great speech given by jack Nicholson in "a Few Good Men".. Sad fact is to few are willing to stand a post, and far to many take those that do for granted.

Don't want to get too far off the topic here so I will shut up now. o:)
