Concert was great, sound was great and Steve Earle and the Dukes were in fine form. Last show in the North American leg and mentioned that Massey Hall was the his favourite venue to perform in. Played a lot of his new album and of course some old faves.

Opening act were The Mastersons. They are also part of the Dukes so it was easy for them to travel with Steve Earle. lol. Great opening act and you should check them out.

Have seen only one concert at Massey Hall (B52's in 1990). You are right, the acoustics are great.

Some of the pics I actually took. Would go back in a heartbeat and would love to see and her an all acoustic set by an artist at this venue.

Thanks for the pics of Massey Hall, I've wondered what the venue looked like since Neil Young's Live At Massey Hall. That's when I started to realize the historic nature of the place and I've wondered what it looked like. As usual, the photos are not like I pictured it in my mind, but few things ever are. I've seen Steve Earle several times in venues of different sizes and he's always put on a very fine show. He's a total pro.

Yea I was thinking the same and he looked a lot like Harley Wyatt from the TV series Treme! guess he has that common look eh!
