Hello,
No, there would be a significant channel imbalance I'm afraid. You would need to consider 2 track (also called half track) prerecorded tapes. Great sounding but expensive. Or, have the Revox converted to 4 track (also called quarter track), also expensive depending upon how it was done. There are some tape decks that have both 2 and 4 track playback capability such as the Sony TC-850 and Otari 5050 series. Some other decks have the ability to easily change the head block assembly for the desired tape playback.
