Mirage M7si port stuffing
I have decded to get back my Mirage M7si speakers for now I have owned many things but find these to be very impressive as did Stereophile but like them I find the bass bump somewhat annoying. Most of the time it is not there but when it is>>The speaker has two small 2.5 inch ports one in back and one in front. I stuffed both with some fill and that helped and also opened up the midrange. but went to far. I pulled one out and it seems really good. Any port experts? Do I?
Reduce the size of each port equaly with stuffing or just stuff one and leave the other open? Which one front or back?
Thanks

I would imagine the rear port if any should be the one to get attention, though I'm not a fan of port plugging, I do realize it's a tool for some to use to tailor their sound.
Don't think I would completely plug it either. To me....plugging ports is covering up a bigger issue of speaker design itself or placement.HT SYSTEM-
