Wow RIP Yogi
I loved the way he stood up against Steinbrenner years back until they begged him to come back to the Yankees.
Nice article remembering him and many of his famous Yogi-ism's.
Ironically he once said: “You should always go to other people’s funerals, otherwise, they won’t come to yours.”
I have been a baseball fan my whole life and there was never a bad word said about Yogi. He was truly loved by everyone.

Thank you Jesse for posting this to the forum. Yogi may be gone, but he will never be forgotten. Loved by so many on and off the field. He played with many__of the greats and coached many others. Yogi was there playing catcher the day of Don Larsen's perfect game in the 1956 World Series between the NY Yankees and the Brooklyn Dodgers at Ebbets Field. We were Blessed to have him coach for the Houston Astro's from 1985 to 1989. He took the Astro's to the NLCS in 1986. We lost to the N.Y. Mets in 6 games. We loved him here in Houston. R.I.P. Yogi

So, here I am, listening to my Starship - Greatest Hits (Ten Years and Change 1979-1991) CD, which I hadn't listened to in a couple of years. I clicked on Jesse's thread here and at the same moment, the song It's Not Over ('Til It's Over) starts playing.....holy carp! Freaked me out!!
Anyhoo...loved the Yogi. A master (unknowingly at times?) of the one-liners! RIP
