What to choose? Def Tech 8060STs / GE Triton 7s/ Monitor 70s (Current)

Upgrading my fronts, L/R/C. I want to make sure my upgrade is a big upgrade from my 70s.
Can't decide..... I can get the Def Techs for 540 a pop refurb. I enjoyed the Tritons but couldn't hear next to the defs. Each store had one or the other.
