Damn it....DSW Pro 600 No Worky!

It powers up, but the green led on the back next to the auto/on/standy switch quickly goes to red even when there is a signal being sent. I double checked vs. my 15" Epik, which rocks by the way, and it indeed is the DSW pro. So, what am I supposed to do with this thing?

I would try the switch set to on first, and see if that works. Then a different power cable, simple because I would be to lazy to check the iec wire. If none if those work either a new amp, or turn it into some kind of shrine or planter.

What a bunch of crap....I am fearing the worst just when Im trying to buy a new integrated. This thing is only 7 years old or so. I bet the amp is blown....do subs have fuses inside?

Newer ones on back, exposed. Older ones not sure, could be one internally.

Nope no fuses. Pop the hood and see if you got ooz all over. Thats what happened to mine.

I hooked up the 15" sealed Epik to the HT in the mean time. I always assumed a ported, smaller sub was the way to go for a smallish HT room - which is maybe 16 x 20 . Man, was I wrong. This Epik crush the DSW and brings the whole HT system to a higher level. Regardless of room size, to a point, try to go with the largest sub you have room for.

I will never buy another Polk sub, fixed them/sold them...

Hello,
I'll send a copy of this thread to Kim at Polk CS, maybe there's something he can do to help.
Sorry you're having a problem.
