Receiver: Denon AVR-3200 (yes, it's old - 80W/ch)
Turntable: Kenwood KD-3055
I currently run Boston Micro 90X satellites and I'd like to get some nice floorstanding stereo speakers. I love listening to music, especially my vinyl, but have a budget.
I was looking at the TSx440T but am unsure if my receiver would drive them properly, It has bi-wire.

Hi Will,
Welcome to the forum. The bi-wire feature is honestly more marketing than anything. Don't worry about it. Your receiver will drive those speakers just fine.
I will say that is a lot of coin for those speakers when you consider other options especially used, or the possibility of nice bookshelf speakers with a subwoofer. Many here would recommend the Pioneer SP-BS22-LR. I also really like the energy RC-10. Couple either of those with this guy: http://www.hsuresearch.com/products/stf-2.html and I think you would have a two channel setup that would offer significant improvements over the polks.
Good luck!Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es

I'd like something floorstanding, no separate sub.

Why exactly? Have u heard a well setup sub bookshelf combo? Because I guarantee either of my suggestions will smoke those speakers in every way. My buddy has the m70s running of a similar receiver power wise, and I've owned the energy rc 10s with a musical 10 inch sub and if smoked the 70s in every way.Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es

At 80w/channel a sub bookshelf will sound much better than trying to get full range out of your modest receiver.Main Surround -

In this case, I have to agree. It takes a beefy power supply to get great bass and a 80wpc AVR doesn't have one.

Is that the top range of your budget ?
If that's what you like, go for it. What the guys are trying to tell you though is that receiver won't be able to make bigger floorstanders perform at their best. Sure, you'll get sound, maybe even good sound at lower levels, but as the volume rises it will become apparent the sound quality will not be as good.
That said, how big is this room they are going into ? I imagine somewhat small considering what you have in there now. Is this just for music or are you looking to play movies on this system too ?
Sorry for all the questions, but we need to know some things to better help you and narrow it down some.HT SYSTEM-
