    I have always like those older mid to higher end yamaha rxvs. I've had the 1500 and 2500 and both are pretty stout for avrs and sound pretty darn good in two channel pure direct, and REALLY GOOD on ht. Yammie has the only DSPs that i have ever actually used, they really do add to the movie watching experience IMHO.

    And yes, that was a steal!!!

    Im not sure why BUT i had the RXV1 & DenonPOA-2200 amp @ 220wpc+ hooked to the Sda 1c's & it was awesome on HT but to me it wasnt that good on 2 channel. I even tried without the amp & to me it just didnt match as well as id like to have had it. With the rxv1500 & the little speakers its pure bliss
