Moses led us to the promised land in the '80s (76ers). And we'll always remember him and that team!

    RIP!

RIP Chairman of the boards. The first and only NBA team I ever had love for was the Sixers with him, Dr J and a very young Charles Barkley. Those guys were beasts!

Also, with Mo Cheeks, one of my favorites. What I remember about Malone is he ambled down the court, like he wasn't in much of a hurry to get anywhere. Then he would explode to the basket. One of the quickest, most unassuming big men I've seen.

    60 yo seems awfully young.

The funeral will be Saturday at 1:00 pm CST here in Houston at Lakewood Church . This is the same building that used to be called The Summit. This is where Moses Malone spent his years as a Rocket player. Charles Barkley will handle the eulogy. I'm sure many__ of the NBA's great players will be paying respects to Moses Malone. :'(
