I had an SDA module for my car I bought back in 1992. Does anyone else remember this, and would anyone know where I could get hold of one.

Yeah, I remember it, I had one. Very rare item these days.Political Correctness'.........defined

One wonders if a Carver C9 would work as a substitute. I suppose the required power inverter to supply 120V AC from 14V DC would make this impractical.
Anyone have photos of that SDA module? -
I was thinking of trying out my amiophonic crosstalk cancellation box in the car. It will run off 12V and has RCA in/out. It's programmed by a laptop and then runs standalone once setup. Could be interesting. They can be had online for a bit over $100.2 Channel - Polk SDA-2BTL, Carver TFM-35, Peachtree iDAC, Qobuz streamed via Episode Lynk using bubble UPnP server

I had one,but never used it.I traded it on eBay for a Carver SX-2/3 crossover with Sonic Holography and deep bass retrieval unit that I also haven't used. It's sitting in a closet along with my Polk car subs.

While it wasn't the same as a set of SDA speakers, the sound did wrap around you. It was actually quite surprising and I liked it better than the Surround many Radios have now.
