I finally bought a pair of POLK RTi6 today for the Back Surrounds. I'm impressed by rear center sound. The Gladiator in DTS ES 6.1 was the best so far. I love them.

I know what you mean, Sean. I've been eyeballing a pair of RTi12's for my computer rig. ;)

Yes, I bought them from Futureshop and they go for $549.99 CDN. Since I work for Best Buy I got employee discount so got them for only $273.99 CDN.

    Ham,

Are you looking for a new best friend???;)

Back to topic. Currently, I am using the 6's as my mains until the LSi C, 9's and 15's get delivered. I only have the 6's and the SVS 16-46 hooked up and I am totally blow away by this set up. I am hearing new detail in music I thought I knew by heart! My forensic anaylasis? These are some kick **** speakers! :)

Incidently, I am planning to put the RTi6's to rear channel duty I will play around with the configuration, but, it only seems fitting to let the LSxx's take "front" and "center"...pun intended.:p

Orginally I wanted RT38i but they are discontinued with Futureshop so I went with RTi6 which are infact latest speakers. I'm glad I did, they are simply stunning. Finally I have a full blown 7.1 system now. My Yamaha RX-V1400 has DOLBY EX format which I'm using with all 5.1 and 5.1 EX coded movies. It also has a DOLBY PLIIx format which I use with all mono, 2-channel and DOLBY SURROUND movies.

I also bi-wired my POLK RTi6 to take the full advantage like all my other speakers.

I also bought 4 rolls of 50ft./30m Monster THX 16 gauge wire and Recoton and Acoustic Research gold-plated banana plugs. :D

I recommend POLK RTi6 to anyone.

Me too. But remember these are bookshelves. Polks floorstanders will definitely out muscle the RTi6.
