INTEGRATED & POWER AMPS
Denon PMA-520 Black 70wpc integrated amp/original box but no original foam $50
Electro-Voice 1244 – 18wpc integrated amp, desktop size $20
HCT 100 – Never used 13wpc stereo tube hybrid integrated. Two line inputs. Original box, packing and all accessories incl. the white cotton gloves so you don’t leave your fingerprints on the chrome! Detachable power cord. Some may remember this item because it was an EXACT knockoff of the “Fat-Man” integrated being hawked by AA for about $700 maybe seven or eight years ago. I got these at a steal price and sold about 10 of them at Polk. $175
Lafayette “Stereo 25” – Real nice little vintage piece. $10
Soundcraftsmen PM840, 200wpc power Amp, compact design $50

PREAMPS
Apt Holman - Needs a De-Oxit, and one “Tape Mon” indicates it is being employed as the source all the time, but it is not. That “Tape Mon” works fine when it IS selected as the listening source. Best solid-state pre I ever had. Destroys the Carvers, Adcoms, NADs etc. $150
NAD 1155 – Mint condition, silver $100

PROCESSORS
Carver C-9 - Stand alone Sonic Hologram Generator. $100
Electro-Voice Interface “A” equalizer - $5
E-V/TAPCO 6201B Stereo Mixer – $5
Garrard 101 “Music Recovery Module” – English outboard phono pre in excellent condition, silver. $20
Kenwood KVC-570 A/V Control Center - $10+ and black
Kenwood SS-592 Surround Processor - $20 and black (I think this is sold)
Lafayette Radio Electronics QD-4 – Dynaco Quadaptor knock-off which I feel is the best of the knock-offs. It has a “Null” (balance) switch just like the original, and also has independent volume control to the back speakers. Still requires you to fabricate 3 pair of speaker cables, all terminating at one end with one RCA jack. Looks like new. $10
Nakamichi – SF100 sub-sonic filter, original box, $15
Pioneer SG-9800 Silver EQ - $50
Pioneer SP-X707 Surround Proc./Amplifier - remote, black, all types of surround proc., and 3/50 watt amps (LR, RR, C) $20
Pioneer SP-X707 Surround Proc./Amplifier – no remote $10
Realistic “Quatrovox” Box – See Lafayette above. $5
Sony PCM 501ES - Pulse Code Modulator, heavy, black, $10
Teac AN180 Dolby Noise Reduction System - Gorgeous, not a scratch $10
Technics SH-AC5000 Dolby Digital Pre/Processor – Minimal pre capabilities (Volume, Input Switching, Speaker Selections), black, no remote, but I think everything can be done from the front panel. $20
Technics SH-AC5000 Dolby Digital Pre/Processor - Minimal pre capabilities (Volume, Input Switching, Speaker Selections), black, no remote, but I think everything can be done from the front panel. $20

ooh that APT Holman preamp is a screaming deal opportunity...
Those little "pseudo-light up" push-push switches were cute but glitchy

two other comments, if I might (realizing that I'm on shaky ground here)

    1) the Garrard MRM has a pretty darned respectable MM phono preamp in it.

    2) if you got really bored, George, and still had a screwdriver handy, it would be really cool to see the innards of that LRE 'quadaptor'. They touted their patented design with some sort of gear driven something inside; I'd love to see its guts in comparison to Hafler's Quadaptor.

    oops, three:

    3) that Tandberg cassette deck was/is a fine, fine cassette deck. Fine, fine, fine.

I'm sure I'll be able to find something out of the remaining receivers and integrateds... But like I said, I'm more of an in-person kind of buyer. Impulse, if you will. I'll send you a pm about Saturday.
    Ludicrous gibs!

George, Per our PMs, I made some selections. I'll see if I can clear you out of a few more receivers...

    I am interested in:

    Sony STR-V4
    HK AVR-510
    HK 385i
    Onkyo TX8511 (if available)

I'm also on the fence about the Soundcraftsmen PM840. I've never had a piece of Soundcraftsmen gear, so I'd kind of like to give it a go... I'm just concerned about not being able to give it the proper tune-up that it deserves.
    Ludicrous gibs!
  • Thanks, everything is here for your perusal but the Onkyo Gonzo.

Where you been? This has been going on for a couple weeks. BluRay is still here and yours. I have some stuff for Sam (obviously) if he needs anything. Depending on what the needs are I can deliver on Friday, Oct 30 if nothing else.

Sony Blu-Ray player is now sold.

I've been tied up. Looking for a new job to get out of the lame one I'm in, got a 4th car (like I need that), had to repair the rear window in the truck, lawnmower broke a shear bolt on the mower deck, bent stuff so had to take the mower apart and fix that too...it's been "fun". Also, Sam was at his dad's for like 3 weeks on vacation. His mom is mad at me anyway over stupid stuff.

I will stop up before then, though. I promise.

My rear window didn't fall out. It's bolted in. The urethane seal was leaking. I had to remove the window to fix that.
