HCT 100 – Never used 13wpc stereo tube hybrid integrated. Two line inputs. Original box, packing and all accessories incl. the white cotton gloves so you don’t leave your fingerprints on the chrome! Detachable power cord. Some may remember this item because it was an EXACT knockoff of the “Fat-Man” integrated being hawked by AA for about $700 maybe seven or eight years ago. I got these at a steal price and sold about 10 of them at Polk. $200
Kenwood KA5700 – Silver face 40wpc stereo integrated, gorgeous. Should go with KT-550 tuner, as they just about match. $25

LOL - I googled that player and there was mention that it had slow load times for some BRs that a firmware update may have improved.
Since this would be for my parents and there's no remote, I'm going to pass. Still a nice price for it though!
How about the HK DVD player... does it have the remote?

I may regret this, but...
If there's something someone really, REALLY wants but can't get to Jersey, I could possibly pony something back to Central PA this weekend. I might consider shipping as long as the buyer is an established member and covers the actual shipping/packing materials costs. I can't accept the responsibility of transport, but I do pack VERY well, and have yet to have any PFB-like experiences...
Since I'll be travelling with the family, space would be limited though.
-Al -
No remote on the HK Al, sorry.
The Thorens table and Fried speakers are now spoken for. -
NP George!

Scubalab and George, I would take the CR-1020 if would be so gracious as to pick it up and ship it to me. Awful nice of you to offer.

I'll leave it up to George, as you'd have to work out payment to him for the actual sale. If you guys work that out, I can bring back to PA with me on Monday. I'll then let you know how much packing materials and shipping would be once I know the size/weight of the package. Again, I would assume no responsibility in shipping, but will do my best to package VERY good. I might have some boxes, but would likely need to buy Styrofoam & packing materials.
Here's an example of how I shipped some speakers to kuntasensei:

I have trust in your packing abilities. George, if this is agreeable send me a PM on payment details. Thanks.

Don, I trust you to the ends of the earth. The Yamaha leaves with Al when he comes, and I get your check whenever I get your check. I will try and help with Al's generousity by giving him some kind of bonus item. Maybe an autographed 8 x 10 glossy or something equally collectible.

George you don't have to do that (unless your John Hancock is priceless)! Just glad I could help out. -
Where exactly does George live ??

I would like the butt ugly HK 820 receiver. Let me know I could come down on Sat.

Nice inventory and good luck. Was it hard deciding to move all this, or just the right time? I'm more curious about what he's keeping. EDIT: Thank you for offering it to this community first, class act!

I'd like the Mitsubishi receiver as well
Thanks
Bill

Okay, thank you, but here's the deal with Saturday. Starting as early as possible (I hope), I am obligated to help the man who bought my Carver Amazing Loudspeakers move them from my home to his. I certainly don't see this lasting all day. I'll PM you my home phone and e-mail address and maybe we can accomplish this if it is early afternoon or something.
And thanks for the Mitsu also.

Roger, thank you sir.
The butt ugly H-K receiver, the Mitsubishi receiver, and the RCA preamp are gonzo, and I'm holding the Pioneer PL-600 for someone until a decision gets made by Saturday. -
The Kefs, the Optimus 300 monster receiver, the Pioneer integrated, the Kenwood integrated/tuner combo, and the Dual 1229Q are gonzo.

George's magic closet has opened and a stack of stuff has very carefully fallen out... Wow, what a list. I may need to come pay you a visit, Mr. Grand. Lets see what's left by next weekend.Ludicrous gibs!

Noah, I'd love to see you, even if you only stay for dinner and don't need a thing.
The Pioneer PL-600 table is once again available, and here's a couple more things I found...
Sony X33ES cd player - Real nice shape w/remote, works great. $40
Sony NS500V SACD/CD plyr - Real nice w/remote, worked great until all of a sudden it won't recognize a SACD as a SACD. It indicates that it's a normal cd and plays it just fine. Happens with more than one SACD, I tried a few. I guess I overworked it, the damn thing doesn't have 20 hours on it. BPC.
Sony STR-7055 stereo AM/FM receiver - HUGE (for 40wpc), silver job from the 70's, wood case in nice shape. $30
Sansui AU6600 Integrated Amp/TU7700 AM/FM tuner - Black, from the 70's tuner works fine, if you can get a sound out of this integrated you're a better man than I. It lights up, I've tried the "Pre Out/Main In" with and without jumpers, with the switch in the proper position and in the improper position (just in case), and this thing is dead silent. $40 for the pair.

That was fast. The Sansui combo I just listed is gone, along with the Minimus 77's, Yamaha A426's, Lafayette "Pipspeaks", Infinity Reference 2000's, and the Akai GXC-4000D. Harry is nothing short of incredible. He took the Kef's too.
