1) Hi-Res Neil Young is like shm-cd PIL
http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/UICY-77456
2) It is disturbing that the drummer from gang of four is an executive of anything
3) It's ONLY about the money -
Neil Young was always an iconoclast (not a bad thing), always difficult (not always a bad thing)... but in his dotage he seems to have morphed into a "hey! you kids! get offa my lawn!" style grumpy old man.
I guess on the bright side, grumpy is preferable to bitter in an elderly rock and roller.
But... ol' Neil dumped his wife, Pegi, for... Darryl Hannah. I can't say that it's inexcusable (I'm in no position to), but it is, I'd opine, very disappointing and very sad.
My point, if I have one, is that I don't see him as a particularly valid data point for anything, anymore :- (

Doesn't Neil have some of his brain missing at this point! I've always been amused by Neil, because I'm also an eccentric fellow who could give a hoot about the status quo! But, not sure about the above. Yeah, it does sound a little like a money thing! PONO?
And, Neil's politics are a problem for most people on this site, I get that, too (he's a Canadian-nothing wrong with that, they're my neighbors and good people). TN anyone?Currently orbiting Bowie's Blackstar.!

Southern gentlemen figured out about him along time ago.
They don't need him around. -
