    I think they were the best all in all... the "A" variant, to me, is slightly preferable to the "B".

    Price seems very reasonable to me - 'specially if in decent condition

    Yeah I have read that the 7s with the peerless are highly regarded if they are still around this weekend I might go give them a listen. I need another pair of speakers like a hole in the head but I have never seen a pair of These available around here so I'm pretty curious to hear a pair.

    My Grandson has the audio bug , and I have a beefy integrated and a Marantz cd player sitting Idle might be fun watching him enjoy these, thanks for the input.

    Buy them, you won't regret it. That is a very good price. The two Peerless tweeters are worth at least half the cost. I have two pair of 7's with Peerless, good stuff indeed.

    Check out this thread on "AudioKarma" http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/archive/index.php/t-224310.html The Polk Monitor 7's are mentioned a number of times, perhaps not as often as JBL's, Magnepans, Klipsch but enough to tell me that they are pretty well regarded for their accuracy and musicality. I am looking for a good pair myself.

    I'd jump all over that. 7's don't come available often around here and those look decent. I'm on the same boat as Dskip.

    Good price! I think I got mine for 90 and I have the SL-2000s in there instead of the Peerless. Also have 5As and 10As with the Peerless. The POLK Monitor collection is NOT going anywhere!
