Any help on packaging cds to mail

I will be putting 70 to 80 cds for sale here in the next few days, and I was wondering how to cheaply but effectively package them for shipping.
Right now in my minds eye I see just pieces of cardboard cut and folded around the cds and bubble wrap with packing tape making it a sort of box.
Any other cheap safe suggestions would be appreciated.

For bare discs, they used to sell CD mailers that were made of thick cardstock; they're dandy and inexpensive. Otherwise, I'd just use a padded mailing envelope.

Hey Scott like you said cut out cardboard pieces to place in between the top and bottom of Cd's tape em up before putting them in a bubble mailer if it's a couple, if someone buys more than a couple box em up good so the cases don't get cracked.
I guess it's best to do the exact opposite of what Amazon or Best Buy does, as they just toss em in a bubble mailer or that thin cardboard paper mailer and hope for the best. I don't know how many cracked cases I have had to replace due to the incompetence of their shippers. I look forward to see what you will be selling and buying some, hopefully you have something for sale I don't already have. Glad to see you posting again!Home Theater

Thanx for the advice guys.
Lately I find myself checking in more, and feeling like I have something worthwhile to add.
Always look for your name here brother, thanks for your support through everything.
The cds are from a friends late husbands collection, mostly jazz, some new age type stuff, with a little rb and pop mixed in.
You might remember endershadow coming down from Indiana for himself and dromunds to pick up 2 pair of infinity speaks and some nice adcom gear, these were that mans.humpty dumpty was pushed -

I have the cds, I sat down the other day and opened the cases, took a look to make sure they were correct to the cas and no visible damage.
Im hoping to get them listed here tonight, but it will probably be late, maybe early in the morning, possibly even tomorrow depending on my back, and how long I have to sit at the docs office this afternoon.
Warren, I really think it would be fairest to put them up here especially after announcing I would, im sorry, otherwise you would be welcome to check them out, hope you find something you like after the listing.humpty dumpty was pushed
