Watched a couple of guys setting these on the shelf at a place I worked on

Vienna Acoustics Beethoven. The ladder is a 6 footer. I'm not in the stereo/home theater install business, but some how this just seems wrong.

Placement is probably to avoid possible damage/vandalism and to a lesser extent theft. If someone wants them the height wouldn't necessarily deter them. Be thankful their not Bose. At least some employees and guests will have something to listen to.

This is a huge room, best guess 30 x 40 with 25 ft high ceiling. They recently decided to hold weddings/receptions in their home.

Funny thing is the didn't set them that high to protect the speakers, it was for a little more floor space. I laughed also.

Aren't these considered some decent speakers? Hope he puts up a few acoustic panels up there.

I thought it was a business office of some sort with the glass door, tall ceiling and framed art in the hallway.
