Time for Amp- What one?

Ok so I am thinking some amp love might help my Monitor 70s. I have pre-outs on my Pioneer AVR. I really don't want to spend an arm and a leg but would like something decent. What should I look for? Any recommendations?

    B&K is generally available on the used market on the cheap and is pretty well thought of here. Parasound as well if you don't go with the big guns. You don' need a ton of power for those, if you don't mind the used market, that's where I'd be looking.

    Maybe a better description of the sound would help us help you if your not liking it. Which receiver are you using, cables, source, room, musical preferences, etc.

    I would think I need to atleast up power on the left right and center. Would like to try and be under 300? Use for Music and Movies.

    Hard to find a quality 3 channel amp for under $300 and that includes the used market.

    But decent used 2ch amps around your price includes the following brands

    WARM sounding: B&K and Parasound

    Also Rotel and Adcom will all make your moniter 70's sing and come in around $3 hundie used. My first quality combo was a Rotel RB 991 amp and Polk Monitor 70 speakers. Rotel also make a duplicate 3 channel amp in that model RB 993 which is very good for right,center and left channel amplification. GLW search

    If you like bright, and you're patient, you might find a 3 channel Acurus around 3 bills, not common, but I see them around here every once in a while. Nicely reviewed amps.
