Matching color tones and finish sheens is a huge part of what I do. You have to be able to see the background tone otherwise you'll never get a match. In this case there is a slight silver background, so I used a mix of silver metallic spray paint and black spray paint applied by brush. The texture was obtained by using a dry stencil brush.
