I need a new center but do I really need a new sub?

Please feel free to take this opportunity to yell at me some more but don't you folks think that I should get a 706 to go with these 707's? Also do I really need a second sub, I don't want to be the only kid on my block with only one sub?

Keep your current center for a while. 706 would be a good Christmas present.
If your walking on the floor, you don't have enough subwoofers. Just takes a while to get there. Take your time -
I dont know if I really want any of that stuff I mostly listen to 2 channel and i cant say that my center sounds like a mismatch with multi channel. I think I need to sit down shut up and listen

If you mostly listen to 2 channel then by all means pick yourself up a second sub!!!

@pearsall001 I have been playing pure direct so no sub but the speakers hold up the bottoms pretty good by themselves. I was thinking about the second sub for movies and for that matter the 706c would be for movies but mostly for the multichannel music. I don't watch a lot of movies.

You will never know until you try it. If you have the means, the space, and the desire....GO FOR IT! Try the second sub in different positions like behind the couch, opposite side wall, etc. Also, play around with aiming the new center. The overall goal would be to improve on what you already have.
If the above don't meet your expectations you can just live with it or sell them. Not until you fully understand that the sub/subs bring so much more to the table in terms maximizing the entire musical presentation other than just the bottom end...it's so much more than that. Google is your friend.
