So, there are repercussions.

I thought I got off too easy and was almost scot-free.

Look what I found when I logged in to check my credit card.

Im pretty sure these are all... Ahem... Shoes.

    Yeah I know... That's almost 5 grand...

I just saw an esoteric k1 on audiogon for a really good price (8500 instead of the usual 9500)... But now I'm scared of further repercussions!!

Joey you gotta keep em happy you gotta ignore the what have you done for me latleys. The wife has had 3 new cars in the last seven years. I Guess her only complaint is the gear that I'm hoarding. That looks like a drop in the hat compared to what you spend on gear. I forgot the wife and Grandson want to fly out to San Diego to stay at my parents house in September. It's not all about us in this hobby you got to keep the better half happy!

The wife is happy and that's all that matters - everything else is noise.

I would spend every dime I had to keep her happy if I had to. She is my world.

It's a good thing she is actually very low key. This is the first time I've seen anything like this. She must really want a pair of shoes.

Dunno' Joey, maybe you WANT to see the "outfit" she is picking out...

Maybe her goal is to distract you from your audio obsession...

I have had the same Danner military combat boots for the past 5-6 years. I wear them everyday. I don't understand the affinity women have with a pair of shoes for each outfit. (Damn near, anyway!)

My wife is the antithesis of label whores.

    She's very low key.

For example, she has 2 Louis Vuitton bags and 1 Coach - which does she use? The Coach. I've seen women with shoes and bags that cost half the car they drive... my wife is very down to earth. You could never tell the way she is.

My guess is that she bought this much stuff, but multiples of it to try out and return whichever she doesn't want.

Partially, this is why I'm not worried about this bill.

If I'm wrong and she keeps the whole purchase, that's also fine by me.

You have Rolex's, Mercedes, 50K in audio equipment, go on vaca's a couple times a year, probably have quite the wardrobe, coach and louis V, and a newer house but she can't buy some shoes.

    You're terrible >:)

lol.... she can buy all the shoes she wants man. When we stop by Niemann, I tell her... that Manolo has your name on it or when we pass by Louis I tell her lets get that for you. She would ask, why should she get one? I say because you're a great mom and wife.... she would say no, I'm good with my Coach bag.

But she always says no... she doesn't want to be like those girls.

    That's why I married her.

I met her from high school before any of this "crap".
