Opinions on the Krell SACD Standard Mk III

Looking to upgrade from my Pioneer Elite Pddj9 MkII and was wondering what the feedback is among you guys on the Krell.
The Gear... Carver "Statement" Mono-blocks, Mcintosh C2300 Arcam AVR20, Oppo UDP-203 4K Blu-ray player, Sony XBR70x850B 4k, Polk Audio Legend L800 with height modules, L400 Center Channel Polk audio AB800 "in-wall" surrounds. Marantz MM7025 stereo amp. Simaudio Moon 680d DSD

    I( regrettably) havent got my ears on one however i do own a Krell amp and think very highly of. Build quality is superb, sound quality to me is ridiculesly good.

    Maybe try a marantz... seems to be s lot of good feedback on them. Or a tube sacd. Once you go tube on a sacd / cd player, its hard to go back to ss. I tried and just kept going up the chain till I went back to tube.

    Otherwise I agree with @soundfreak1 Krell makes some amazing stuff!

    I just did some research on that krell. Verry nice reviews on it. I think it would take the pioneer easily.
