Yep... Got word today they got picked up via freight company.

Now they are legitimately on their way!!!

Wahoo!!!

Now I just gotta cross my fingers they get here in 1 piece.

Already have mobilized my friends and neighbors. We will have this moved upstairs in no time.

    The waiting is the hardest part. When I bought my S5s they were shipped cross country from FL to CA. I have to admit this was probably the most stress provoking purchase I ever made. While intellectually I knew it was okay, emotionally I was in knots. Between transferring more money than I paid for a new car to a stranger, and then waiting for them to arrive I was stressed. However, I absolutely love them and have zero desire at this point to even consider an upgrade.

    More like relieved... all that time searching and now it's over. After I set it up, I am thinking about how content I will finally be.

    It's not easy to make a purchase like this. It's not just the cost, it's the search, it's the looking for the right minty pair, it's looking for the right seller, it's the actual payment and the hoping that the freight company you chose is good and will not screw up the shipment.

    Then after it's shipped it's worrying about whether it will get here in 1 piece or in multiple broken pieces. Or whether or not something will happen in the middle of a very hot Dallas summer while waiting in the transport distribution center...

    Quite nerve racking.

    One of my stipulations of the sale was super packing with straps and plastic wrap. I like that he actually followed through on it. Nice guy... I like that he sent me pics of the shipment too.

    In your search for electronics, put these on your short list. I've heard the SF's with Doshi and the pair was great! The D'Agastino's ARE amazing, but I think I've been stung by the tube bug because these just had something the D'Ag's did not.

    I looked it up, that's a nice looking amp as well. If they sound as good as they look, they're going to sound fantastic.

    I'd want to get an ear on anything with a Lampizator label on it. Love the way the guy describes the 211 also.

    Claims you can't build a better amp at his price without using stolen parts or child labor. Keeps costs down by using some of the same parts as in his dacs, which by all accounts are no slouch on their own either.
