These things are so awesome I might just have to keep both! ;) I'm just kidding, I'm only keeping the 4420. @WLDock check out the pics of your new amp!

Just wanted to get any more advice on how to ship this amp to WLDock , I need everything including the box. The closest Best Buy (to ask for a receiver box) is more than an hour away from me but Home Depot is relatively close. WLDock already suggested I go to Best Buy and see if they have a box and to buy foam at Home Depot but if somebody happens to have any easier (closer) ideas I'd love to hear them. I'll get this thing headed your way as soon as I can man.

    I *love* how the sound stage and dynamics hold together when you turn it up a bit. The Aventage amps go decently loud while keeping composure but not like this.

    Try to find a computer box if possible. I used two computer boxes to double box the Parasound amp I have and it worked out good......

    Both of you need to contact ATI for the service manuals for those amps. I got service schematics and owners manual copies for both my 200.5 and Ref 50 preamp with no problems.

    Are you using the built in DAC on the reference50 by any chance?
    I was thinking about swaping my ref5s2 for the 50 to use the digital input for my Sonos.

    Hey, if you decided to keep both....I would say I can't blame you. However, since you are a nice guy I guess I need to get you some Benjamins your way before do change your mind, LOL! They look nice, congrats to us! Thanks for doing the transaction.

    Here is the the way to pack as we discussed. Can either use a single double thickness cardboard box or can double box using two sizes of single thickness boxes. I've shipped about seven heavy AVR's in the last two years without issue using these methods.

    Hefty, internals. 200W@8 Ohms/325W@4 ohms x 3. I will be sourcing components to replace all the caps...its got some BIG ONES! Will make for a nice ice Fall/Winter project!
