Still not completly sold on 90s and the cabinets have damage but willing to try and the xovers look easy I am going to order Clarity Caps and Mundorf MOX res and the one small inductor All this is from Madisound as it will get here Saturday.

Which small inductor should I be ordering?

IF I was to do the two large ones which ones? Cost does matter

Goertz Inductors 12 AWG

Goertz Inductors 14 AWG

Goertz Inductors 16 AWG

Solen "Perfect Lay" Inductors 14 AWG

Steel Laminate "Sledgehammer" Inductors 15 AWG

Madisound Sidewinder Inductors 16 AWG

Madisound Air Core Inductors 19 AWG

Madisound Air Core Inductors 20 AWG

    Someone can chime in on their inductor recommendations, but you may want to make sure that you are modifying them to the latest revision of the xover. They changed the value of an inductor in one of the driver pairs and also the resistor in the tweeter circuit. I can e-mail you the schematics if you would like.

    Thanks I get that and would do the revised one The question is which ones?

    You should go with inductors that are the same inductance and close to the same DCR as the originals.
    Per the latest (revised) schematic:
    L1 = 0.4mH, 0.7 ohm DCR
    L2 = 1.55mH, 0.28 ohm DCR
    L3 = 1.0mH, 0.25 ohm DCR

    Correct but there are air core, stteel lam (originals were also steel lam) and differeni wire sizes. thanks

    Air core are going to be larger but generally will have better sound. The steel core makes the inductor more efficient but there can be distortion due to eddie currents within the core.

    The wire size will dictate the DCR, which is more important.

    I have two sets of Xovers Could I use the spare 1.55mh for the 1mh?? it is very close and remember that one started at 4mh in the original version so it gets me most of the way there and no cost plus the DCR is very close and closer then the air cores or the steel lams I am looking at.

    I also feel like if I change the one to an air core now i should change the other steel lam to an air core More cost
