Tube guys would have loved these places

While many here are on before dinner I was just reminiscing about how easy it was to get any part you could possibly want. I'm talking about the old Radio Row in lower Manhattan. Any and every kind of electronic and surplus store was there selling everything imaginable. They were either bought out or just bulldozed over w/ the law of eminent domain used to build the former World Trade Center Towers. Me I went down there and Canal St. because I was into millitaria, Air Force Parkas, Army Fatigue jackets and holed hand grenades. Now you'd be lucky to get anything real because everything is counterfeit down there. Any older New Yorker's remember ole radio row ? The true original brick and mortar stores.
