need information about super tweeter

hay tell me what is the application of super tweeter i have sony mini hifi it has super tweeter built in the top of the speakers but no sound comes from it.when i opened the speaker i found no magnit behind the super tweeter it is made og aluminium and 2 wires coming from tweeter ataches to it

Not really. I know that some supertweeters operate out of the audible range but I'm at a loss here.

I think that WWW.Sony.Com would be your best source of info regarding the problem that you are having. Try emailing their Tech Support people.

If the super tweeter is playing 20kHz and above, you won't hear it.

People say super tweeters 'tickle' the brain. Even though we can't hear frequencies that high, our brain can sense them and provide pleasure. It's voodoo IMO.

I think those are more of joke than anything, I have seen them like that before and cannot figure out for life of me why they even bother with it. Just more for **** and giggles I suppose. Maybe it works on the same premise as piezo? I dunno I think its a waste of eng. and dev. and is better off left undone I.m.o.
