Polk monitor/model 9

I have a pair of monitor 9's and was wondering if I should sell them or spend money to have them restored. They have been around and need work but everything works on them .

I see you have posted in the other thread. IMHO they are they least desirable speaker Polk ever made. Me I wouldn't waste money on them. Money would be better spent on any other speaker Polk made.
Sorry don't mean to sound so negative.

if you are a collector and just want to do it for grins and giggles, then go for it. Or if you just want a fun project, something to test your skills on, have at it. If you like the sound, and want a speaker to enjoyably listen to, sell the parts on fleabay and buy a pair of Monitor 5s or 7s (preferably with peerless tweets). Should be able to find a local pair for less than $100, and can sometimes find the 5s or 5 jrs shipped for about that or a little more.

    Good luck!

I paid $125 for my Monitor 5's with original boxes and original Polk stands. I bet he would have taken $99.
