Hello,

I keep an eye on San Diego CL for any deals on electronics and most of all Cinavia free blu ray players. Yesterday a guy had a Pioneer Elite BDP-94HD going for $50, saying he no longer had a need for it. So I got it for $40. I hooked it up and it plays very well, awesome picture and the sound for not having DTS-HD is good too. It's a made in Japan in 2008 model so it might be good for another 7 years or longer.

With in-laws and kids I back up all my movies, about 30% have Cinavia protection.
When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.

    Everything works great on the player. picture is better than my new Samsung and Sony players. The only downside is no DTS-HD audio output, it's too old. The guy I got it from took care of it still looks new on the outside and there was very little dust on the inside.
