Will the 2200 series II amp work with SDA's without having an A1? If so what is a fair price for these amps?

Thanks

Your answer seems to be buried in this thread:

IF I read this right, the amp has a 5.6 ohm resistor between each of the negative terminals and chassis ground. Thus about 11 ohms between the two negative terminals.

You will want to install a jumper wire to bypass that resistance--or if your speakers allow using an isolation transformer, (AI-1 or "Dreadnaught") that can be used in place of the jumper wire.

Please confirm this info on your amp with an ohmmeter across the negative terminals of the two channels--or--contact Parasound.
