Wireworld Cables in the house

mbpc5zqjxprp.jpg

May I introduce respectively the Stratus, Solstice, and the Nova, these will be replacing the Signal Interconnects and Signal Power cord I have on the Marantz, they seem very well built and look pretty intimidating to the Signals they are replacing.

They will definitely be easier to route through my audio rack they are more flexible and not as stiff as the others especially the Stratus vs Signal power cord, unfortunately I won't be hooking them up till Friday night as my Pure I20 IOS dac won't be here until then and I don't want to pull the rack out twice and reroute my cables. I will let these burn in a bit before I post my impression. Remember folks Wireworld cables are available at all respectable Audio outlets like Audio Thesis and thier fine staff :D Impressions forthcoming

I have the same power cord, but Equinox 7 interconnects. I received another set of the interconnects today for my P5 arriving Friday, all from the same fine establishment. The cables need to burn in for about 150hrs.

Your getting a Parasound P5 how nice can't wait to hear your impression, what cables were you using prior to your Wireworld purchase?

Honestly I have never had any real cables up until recently. I have been assembling a 2 channel rig the last couple months after being void of one for many, many years. I purchased a Parasound A23, and have been the last couple weeks running it on the preouts of a Marantz avr. I had all along planned to implement the P5 later, but decided to go ahead and do that now. This rig also consists of a Marantz CD6005 and a mint pair of SDA-2B's. These wireworld cables from the get go, were a wow moment for me considering what I had been using. These got even better after about 150hrs of burn in time. You will be able to do a serious comparison. I never realized how important cables are until I started hanging around here.....lol. I will let you know what I think of the P5, with the A23 it should make for a good combo driving the SDR's.

SDA's not SDR's......this was way too early in the morning.

LOL....Glad your diggin' them. Maybe now you see why we say everything in the chain matters. With more cable makers than you can shake a stick at, companies like Wireworld, MIT, Shunyata, analysis plus, Acoustic Zen and countless more play on a different level. Just like gear and speakers, you have players for every appetite and wallet. The used markets make some of these expensive cables well within reach to some who never thought would be obtainable.

Rock on with your bad self bro, your putting together a sweet system there.

Well got home from work today found out my Pure I20 is all of a sudden sold out and on back order and won't arrive till around the 15th, I did not want to wait any longer to hook up my Wireworld power cable and interconnects

I pulled the rack forward yanked the Signals out and replaced them with the Wireworlds put in my Styx Paradise Theatre SACD listened to it I was pretty impressed is it the Marantz that sounds so good or the addition of the Wireworlds?

I listened to The Paradise Theatre SACD in its entirety, then me and my Wife met up with friends and went to the Mississippi Valley Fair and saw Styx perform we just got back without Dennis De young it just isn't Styx they were ok but man they need Dennis back that McGowan guy ain't no Dennis in my Opinion.

Anyhow back home a little intoxicated I just put In the Crystal Ball Redbook CD into the SA15S2B hooked up to the Wireworlds, man I'am impressed cranking it the missus said wow the sound is amazing prime Styx cranked through this rig sounds pretty sweet digging it for sure once the cables break in I can't wait, but this rig sounds mighty fine right about now

I saw the Foreigner/Kansas/Styx tour a few years ago w/ the Mrs. and it was great. Sure, DeYoung was missed...

So my Pure I20 IOS Dac came in today hooked it up with the Wireworld Nova toslink running through the Dac in my Marantz 15s2b and I have to admit I'm pretty impressed with the sound played Wars greatest hits and the SDA is in full effect sounds pretty good to me.

I also hooked it up via coaxial cable through the Dac in the Marantz, sounded great. I then hooked it up via Wireworld Solstice 7 IC'S directly to my Adcom preamp utilizing the Inboard Dac that the Pure I20 has and must admit not bad. Pure recommends toslink through a decent dac and that Marantz is putting a big ol smile on my face once again. 3 IPods and a I phone 4s crammed full of tunes is now a part of my 2 channe rigl with good results. The remote works from across the room flawlessly.

Awesome man. How is it sounding?

I'm liking it that Dac in the Marantz will be getting a workout, Skip this puts a big smile on my face. I will be getting that Peachtree X1 next so I can hook up my Laptop, and will be needing a Wireworld Coaxial to go with it!
