Monitor 5b crossover versions question

Hi, is there any reason to prefer a later crossover with polyswitch over an earlier crossover with fuse protection?

Thanks, The schematic is identical with the exception of the parts mentioned above.

Either XO is good and can be made better by swapping the electrolytic capacitors for film type. Generally folks around here like to get rid of the polyswitch.

Thanks, i have a earlier versions the fused recapped with clarity caps, bought a latter set because of the cabinets, they're in much better shape and have the finish I wanted.

I will switch the cabinets and I was wondering is it was worth to keep the crossover as well.
