I know I'm going to feel extra dumb when I find out.......it was an album cover (or the back side) on the news this morning and the wife and I were both stumped, anyone?????8u78ule55tg1.jpg

    EDIT: And this is the back story explaining why Charlie Rich ("The Silver Fox") was showin' up on TV this morning. Billy Sherrill passed away yesterday.

    Oh my goodness, and yes I feel like a (you know what) I have most of his stuff on my hard drive and have always loved Behind Closed Doors!! Thanks for the help, I knew one of my fellow Polkies would know!!

    a (perhaps) amusing anecdote.

    When I was in grad school, there was one "high maintenance" grad student in the lab. OK, we all were, but this guy was particularly high maintenance.

    Periodically, our advisor, who was (and still is) a pretty low key, passive-aggressive kind of guy, would bring the aforementioned HM grad student into his office and shut the door to have a little chat with him. Our advisor wasn't really the door-closing kind of guy -- unless there was good reason to.

    When this occured, another guy in the lab (who would later be my post-doc advisor, but that's another story entirely) -- who was from Louisiana and had some C-W cred -- would start to croon "Because no one knows what goes on behind closed doors...".

    OK, maybe it's a little too specific to a certain time and place... ;- )
