Controlling Output to Sub-woofer

Hi All

Simple question.

I have the sub woofer pulling double duty as HT and music. For HT the sub woofer is connected to the AVR via LFE channel.

For stereo the sub woofer is connected via the loop on the Parasound amplifier. The sub has two separate inputs. The problem I have is that the Cary Preamp has a a bit of a high gain output so when I use the sub for music I have to manually lower the volume of the sub on the back of the unit.

I was thinking if I can use one of this instead.

It will place in between the amp and the sub.

Well so far is dead quiet. Very nice and working great.

I don't use subs for music only movies nice little button on the front panel called Pure Audio. During movies I don't like send all those explosions and noise to my front mains so I Xover at 90 to the two psw 505

I see. Is that in my case the Linn's and the Usher bookies don't go that deep. I do have the SDA 1C but those still need to be restored.

Sometime I think the 1C's have more bass than the 2.3tls
