Low Bias/High Bias

Was just brought to my attention I have been running my amp in low bias. Getting ready to switch it over to high and see if I hear a difference. Any thoughts?? Probably wont get to it until tomorrow as I have a pile of cd's I need to rerip tonight.

johny I find that high bias on tube equipment results in more bass and slam with better mids.

Well, this has to go down as one of the dumbest threads I have had the opportunity to start!! :) The difference was that of having a dimmer switch on (let's say) a dining room light and while the light was at the half way position for the longest time, then someone all of a sudden slides that dimmer switch all the way up!! HELLO!!!!!! Ya see, I know so darn little about this hobby and not ashamed to admit. It's an ongoing thing for sure...and this was one of them learning experiences for me. I know I should get to know my gear better and not have to even admit this stupidity, so forgive me please. :p This is really only the first amp I have owned that had such a switch on it. Maybe someone else here has this same option and has played with the back and fourth?? I'm not playing with it anymore...although it does make the beast warm up a bit more!!! Ok, I'm stuck on HIGH!!!! :)
